Photography has been my way of communicating with the world around me since I was eight years old. Upon taking my first photograph with my parents' Polaroid and experiencing the magic, I was hooked. In that moment, I realized I now had a voice and a way to safely express myself.
One of the things I love most about photography is that it records a moment in time that will never occur again. In the next second, something will have changed. In a photograph, that moment is seen and preserved. My photographs are simply moments I encounter as I go about my life. Nothing planned, just a matter of carrying a camera with me and taking a photograph when I observe and feel something in a particular moment, using available light.
